RDS Design Process

RDS is an artistic partner for clients to execute their creative visions. Here's a bit about how we'll work together.

From IDEA to IT'S DONE!

ONE

CREATIVE BRIEF

The client will complete a questionnaire about the design they're looking for (style, typeface, colors, etc.) & which design package they're interested in.

RDS will use the provided information to generate a service agreement to be executed by the client and RDS.

TWO

IDEATION

After the initial payment is received, it's time to draft! This is where RDS starts researching and sketching concepts and potential designs. A formalized mock-up is prepared for the client. Any additional product(s) requested by the client (e.g. brand guide or website copy) will also be drafted in this stage.

THREE

INITIAL PRESENTATION

The client will receive a digital envelope with the preliminary designs, based on the established timeline within the service agreement. Here, the client can review and provide feedback and directions.

FOUR

REFINEMENT

RDS will use a client's provided feedback to tailor and revise the design to the client's specifications.

Revisions include modifications

such as:

  • Changing of typeface or lettering

  • "Physical" tweaking to the design itself (spacing, proportions, etc.)

  • Adding supplemental details or elements

FIVE

CONSULTATION

Within a few days of receiving client input, RDS will provide an updated digital envelope for the client to review. Then, repeat steps 4&5 (refinement and consultation) until a final design has been reached. Communication will be primarily email-based, or RDS will request a Zoom session to discuss any requested changes.

(The revision process is based on the number of revisions included within the chosen design package.)

SIX

DELIVERY

Once the client has provided final approval on a design and the remaining payment has been made, RDS will send the fully executed digital binder with all relevant files.
